Neueda taps top tech talent in Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (Malaga) to support its public sector, private sector and capital markets businesses

Neueda, the Northern Ireland headquartered digital transformation company, has invested £500k to open a new Software Delivery Centre of Excellence in Malaga, in Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (PTA), to support its expanding global customer base and ambitious growth plans. This latest announcement follows on from the firm’s £12m investment in new jobs and talent development for its Belfast headquarters earlier this year.

The new premises in PTA, selected in part to provide a base for valued employees seeking to return to the region, will help accommodate the growth of the firm’s public sector, private sector and capital markets businesses. Neueda’s European Software Delivery Centres in Belfast and Malaga will work in unison to deliver innovative digital solutions that enable its customers to transform and improve the way they do business.

Neueda is committed to delivering on its growth strategy and to rapidly build out its team in Northern Ireland and Spain. Establishing a presence in Parque Tecnologico de Andalucía is designed to mitigate against potential impacts from Brexit and increase Neueda’s footprint in Europe to secure top tech talent and new business.

Commenting on the investment, Paddy O’Hagan, Neueda COO, said:

“At Neueda, we are fortunate to be able to attract, develop and retain talented, passionate people from diverse backgrounds. Given the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, we decided to establish an office in the Eurozone to protect employee mobility and provide options for our current and future employees.

“Malaga and PTA provides us with another rich location to attract technical talent across Europe. We have a fantastic track record of recruiting from the region which has strong cultural alignment and excellent transport links with Northern Ireland which will ensure that it will quickly integrate with our teams in Belfast and London.”

The president of PTA, José Luis Ruiz Espejo, remarked that “The arrival of Neueda reinforces PTA as an ideal location for companies seeking a safe, healthy and future-proof environment. Companies are attracted by the top quality source of professionals that Málaga has to offer, particularly from the IT sector. We are delighted to be the preferred option for an international, ambitious company like Neueda.”

Recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work 2017’, Neueda currently has 15 senior and junior software engineering vacancies in PTA and is especially interested in candidates with data analysis and java expertise. For more information on the opportunities in Neueda Malaga, visit www.neueda.com/malaga
