The Technology Park of Andalusia takes part in the second Tikal Forum and in the XV Iberoamerican Meeting of Digital Cities

The Technology Park of Andalusia has participated in a new edition of Tikal Forum and also in the fifteenth edition of Iberoamerican Meeting of Digital Cities that, for second year, was held on 2th and 3rd of October in the Trade Fair and Congress Center of Malaga coinciding with Greencities Forum.

Tikal has become a benchmark event to discuss energy efficiency, sustainable building and smart cities. Through the PTA, who has collaborated in the organization of the Forum, in this institutional meeting have participated representatives of Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Ecuador and Portugal, who has a close partnership with the park.

Francisco de la Torre, Mayor of Málaga, attended the opening of the Forum Tikal, where he was accompanied by  Deputy rsecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, Enrique Hernández Bento; the General Director of the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), Fernando Bayon, and the president of the Ibero-American Association of Research Centers and Telecommunication Enterprises (Ahciet), Arancha Diaz.

By holding these meetings, the Malaga has again become the epicenter of the intelligent managements of cities, energy efficiency and innovation complementarity through three meetings held in parallel and which were represented countries like Argentina , Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Morocco, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, UK, Switzerland, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The meeting was a wide space of activities among which highlighted the program of lectures, workshops, networking  times  and panel discussions in ICT Forums , Sustainability and Sustainable Cities Forum, the two major themes that make up the program of the event’s activities.
