Ciklum has celebrated its Open Day at the PTA
Ciklum developers talked about their professional experiences to students from University of Malaga and Codespace Academy
Yesterday, April 24th, Ciklum Spain, an international software development company with more than 200 employees, has celebrated its first Open Day this year. Oriented to students who want to work in the IT sector, more 40 students from the University of Malaga and Codespace Academy have approached the PTA in a day that has started at 9:30 and has been extended until 3 in the afternoon.
After a reception and a walk through the offices, where the participants have been able to meet some of the Ciklumers of the thirteen projects that are currently being developed, a session of talks started about how to make a career in the IT sector. Svetlana Yefimova, Brunch Manager, and José López, People Partner, have explained the most important trends and technologies of the IT sector, as well as the necessary steps to guide the formation and curriculum of a student before his or her jump into the professional world. Afterwards, Yvan Pinto, Nayiri Meschian, Francisco Moreno, Álvaro Ruiz and Santiago Sánchez, professionals from the Ciklum development teams, spoke about their professional experiences in the first person.
The day has ended with all the participants enjoying a lunch together, where a relaxed and full of curiosity reigned, where the questions have not stopped at any time. The objective of Ciklum is to enrich the community in Malaga with events that have social and educational value within the IT sector.
