RealCore, a German company in full expansion at the PTA
One year and a half after inaugurating its Spanish branch at the PTA, RealCore has experienced a remarkable growth and consolidation.
RealCore Spain is a business software development company specialising in SAP (Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing), web, and mobile environments. The Spanish branch of the company is located at the Andalusia Technology Park, and belongs to the larger RealCore group, a German company dedicated to technology and business process consulting. Over 300 highly qualified professionals work in particularly innovative projects within the Retail and Energy industries, among others.
In Germany, RealCore Group GmbH has its main headquarters in Essen and offices in Hamburg, Dortmund, Oberhausen, Weinheim, and Saarbrücken. The opening of its headquarters in Spain is part of the company’s strategy towards international expansion. The company chose to open its office at the PTA due to its prime location, its great accessibility, and its proximity to other companies in the industry.
From here, RealCore develops projects for its clients in Germany while also offering support to local clients. Since setting up at the PTA one year and a half ago, the German company has tripled its workforce and aims to keep growing, as confirms its Business Development Director.
What does the future hold for you at the PTA?
“We expect to keep growing and keep increasing the size of our workforce and intend to relocate to a new space in the PTA that will respond to our new requirements. Internally we offer all our workers training to learn German in order to give a better service to our clients in Germany. We also operate on an European timetable with flexible times in order to balance work life with personal and family life.”
What specifically does the PTA and Malaga have to offer?
“The PTA is a launch pad and a base for expansion for companies in the industry. The simple fact of being located here brings prestige to any company that wishes to position itself in the technological sector, compared to other locations. Being in a city and a province like Malaga, which is fantastically connected to the rest of the world, has a multicultural population, and is open to modern times, means it is an ideal location to reach new challenges, to continue to grow, and to strengthen our company’s position as a reference in the industry. The proximity of the University of Malaga means that we can draw from a pool of new interesting profiles to get involved in the projects that we are developing.”
