Companies wishing to set up in the PTA should send the General Manager an application letter along with the project, including reference to the activity to be performed, amount of space required, jobs to be created and maintained, number of workers with university degrees, environmental ¡impact and business plan for the first years of operation in the Park.

The PTA will review the documentation submitted by the company and inform it in writing whether its application to set up in the PTA has been accepted or not.

If the decision is affirmative, the company will be informed of the conditions regarding reservation of the space allotted, after which it can begin the process of applying for subsidies and purchasing or leasing the space assigned, or if fitting, purchasing the land and constructing the building.

The Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía offers a wide range of possibilities to companies wishing to set up and implement their business project in its premises. Depending on the activity involved and expected investment, companies can choose from the following options:

• - For new companies, or those beginning to develop a project, business incubators provide offices and small plants for rent for a limited amount of time (about three years), and at the same time provide business consulting services and others which are shared, such as photocopying, fax, meeting rooms, office staff, etc.
• - Companies wishing to lease offices, on the basis of their size, activity or financial situation, can choose well-lit modules ranging from 24m² upwards, equipped with all the services needed to begin business activity (electricity, telecommunications, air conditioning, etc.).
• - Purchase or rental of industrial plants for the implementation of all the industrial or service activities permitted in the Park, allowing a company to set up rapidly and avoid delays involved in constructing its own building.
• - Buildings ranging from 150m² upwards, that companies purchase and finish to suit their own particular needs. Purchase of land or the right to use it and to build on it.

In addition, at the PTA the Andalusian Centre for Entrepreneurs and the University of Malaga have an area devoted to the pre-incubation stage (passage from the idea phase to the creation of the company).
