Malaga TechPark, present in Greencities and S-moving one more year

Malaga TechPark has actively participated in the 2021 edition of Greencities, which this year has been merged with another important event for technology and innovation: S-moving, at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Malaga (FYCMA).

Specifically, the Park has been present through the head of Malaga TechPark International Projects, Aline Daniel, who has presented the European eLead Project, within the event entitled “Entrepreneurship as a key factor in the advancement of smart cities and mobility smart and sustainable ”. The event took place within the Start-up Point area, in the Urban Intelligence Room, in a space with a round table format.

Aline Daniel  indicated that the main objective of the eLead project is to define a new curriculum for the qualification of High Technology Leaders, using the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

The head of International Relations at Malaga TechPark underlined that “the project creates educational material for professional training within the process for training managers, workers or high-tech or digital companies, among others.”

The 28-month project will provide educational materials for VET professionals working with SMEs in the high-tech sector and a training program (MOOC) for workers in the high-tech and digital sector (final beneficiaries).

Preparation for high-tech leadership trainers is considered a key measure in providing qualitative e-leadership training programmes.

During the first phase of the project, the partnership focused on the design of a competence map for the new high-tech leader qualification based on the ECVET and EQF instruments. The competence map has been created through a comparison of the key activities to be carried out by high-tech leaders in the partner countries and is based on a clear definition of the high-tech leader profile.

Concurrently with the completion of the first phase, Málaga TechPark has prepared the second phase, during which a practical manual will be developed for VET trainers, experts and professionals who deal with companies and managers in the high-tech sector (mainly SMEs). and startups).

The event was led by Juan Manuel Revuelta, CEO of Finnova and CirCoAX Startup Europe Awards. Anna Tórz, Head of International Cooperation at the Poznan Science and Technology Park; Marcos Martínez, EI Datathon finalist; and John David Babyack, Project Manager at Hopu participated in this occasion.

On the other hand, in an  activity organised within the Greencities forum, the second day of the third workshop of the European Innoinvest Project took place.

This is the third of four workshops planned within the European project ‘Innoinvest’, aimed at SMEs that require investment to launch innovative products or technologies.

This workshop was focused on the analysis of the current practices of the partners, tools, resources and future plans in relation to the investment process, in order to reduce risk and improve the quality of professional services for SMEs.

The objectives of this new meeting were focused on the analysis and improvement of the validation process: finding the best way to get business partners who support the validation process or who can also co-finance the investment (short and long-term capital financing).
