{"id":10300,"date":"2021-11-26T15:49:40","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T15:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/?p=10300"},"modified":"2021-12-22T09:02:47","modified_gmt":"2021-12-22T09:02:47","slug":"railway-innovation-hub-based-in-malaga-techpark-celebrates-the-national-conferencecomprehensive-railway-mobility-challenges-and-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/railway-innovation-hub-based-in-malaga-techpark-celebrates-the-national-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Railway Innovation Hub, based in Malaga TechPark, celebrates the National Conference &#8220;Comprehensive railway mobility: challenges and opportunities\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adif.es\/inicio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adif<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renfe.com\/es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Renfe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aopandalucia.es\/the Public Works Agency of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Public Works Agency of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda<\/a>, Metros of Malaga, Granada and Seville, together with other agents and leading companies in the sector have gathered in this event organized by the international benchmark cluster in railway innovation and high technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/empresas\/rail-innovation-hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Railway Innovation Hub<\/a>, the international benchmark cluster in railway innovation and high technology, based in Malaga TechPark, has held the National Conference \u201cComprehensive railway mobility: challenges and opportunities\u201d, which has brought together almost a hundred participants from the main leading companies and key agents in mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Held at the headquarters of the Rectorate of the University of Malaga, the conference was opened by the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre Prados and the Deputy Minister of Development, Infrastructure and Land Management of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Mario Mu\u00f1oz-Atanet; accompanied by the President of Railway Innovation Hub, Juan El\u00edzaga Corrales<br \/>\nThe event had almost a hundred participants, institutional representatives of the Malaga City Council and the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, as well as the local and national business environment, a large part from the leading companies in railway innovation and high technology that make up the cluster Railway Innovation Hub. It is an event considered a collaborator of the Strategy for Safe, Sustainable and Connected Mobility of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA).<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the meeting was to provide a space for debate on the role that the railway medium can play as a reference system for sustainable public transport in the new urban mobility and its relationship and integration with other means of transport in cities and metropolitan areas. All of this has occurred within the framework of the new sustainability challenges in which progress is being made for the cities of the future.<\/p>\n<p>The event program has had the participation of different key mobility agents, such as the Public Works Agency of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda, Adif or the M\u00e1laga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium, as well as Metro M\u00e1laga, Metro Granada and Seville Metro, together with operators such as Renfe, Globalvia and Avanza.<\/p>\n<p>Experts from the railway innovation and high technology sector have addressed the challenges and opportunities of integral rail mobility through different round tables and presentations, such as \u201cThe Mobility Strategy 2030 in urban mobility and the role of the rail mode\u201d, \u201cThe role of the Metro and Tramways in Andalusia\u201d, \u201cThe present and future of the role of private operators within the MITMA Strategy\u201d or \u201cIntermodality: transport card and digitization\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Attendance at the Conference has been open, taking place in person and online. Prior to the event, the Railway Innovation Hub General Assembly of Members was held.<\/p>\n<p>RAILWAY INNOVATION HUB<br \/>\nThe Railway Innovation Hub cluster is the international benchmark in railway innovation and high technology, unique worldwide, with more than 70 leading associated companies in the sector. It has a technical office located at ADIF&#8217;s CTF (Center for Railway Technologies) in Malaga TechPark.<\/p>\n<p>Its mission is to promote technology and knowledge of the railway sector internationally. All this through the generation of collaborative R&amp;D projects, the commercialization of technology and know-how, the promotion of entrepreneurship and the provision of specialized services.<\/p>\n<p>Among the initiatives currently being worked on by the Railway Innovation Hub are ImpulsoTREN 2030, GRail, Phygital Hub, Smart Train Smart, Air Andalusia, among other projects. It is worth highlighting the recent dissemination of the railway BIM classification, promoted by the Railway Innovation Hub, and in which more than 25 associated companies have worked.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the strategic lines, collaborative projects and technological challenges undertaken by the Railway Innovation Hub are presented as its pillars of activity, which make the Railway Innovation Hub a highly successful collaborative environment for its associated companies. All of them highly related to R + D + i and that represent a highly technological and innovative sector, such as the Spanish railway sector.<\/p>\n<p><a
