An exciting challenge that I face with the desire to contribute and continue to grow from the Railway Innovation Hub with the accession of new members and to continue to promote the work of our member companies, joint projects and the strategic lines of the cluster. An international benchmark cluster that I am proud to represent and that we will continue to promote as a key player in the railway innovation and high technology sector&#8221;, said Laura Tordera.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6>\n<b>Railway Innovation Hub<\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The &#8216;Railway Innovation Hub&#8217; cluster is the international benchmark in railway innovation and high technology, the only one of its kind in the world, with around 80 associated companies. It has a technical office located in the CTF (Railway Technology Centre) of ADIF in Malaga TechPark.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Its mission is to promote technology and knowledge in the railway sector at an international level. All this through the generation of collaborative R&amp;D projects, the commercialisation of technology and know-how, the promotion of entrepreneurship and the provision of specialised services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the initiatives currently being worked on by the Railway Innovation Hub are ImpulsoTREN 2030, GRail, Phygital Hub, Smart Train Smart, Air Andalusia, among other projects. It is worth highlighting the recent dissemination of the railway BIM classification, promoted by the Railway Innovation Hub and on which more than 25 associated companies have worked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likewise, the strategic lines, collaborative projects and technological challenges undertaken from &#8216;Railway Innovation Hub&#8217; are presented as its pillars of activity, which make the cluster a highly successful collaborative environment for its associated companies. All of them are closely related to R&amp;D&amp;I and represent a highly technological and innovative sector, such as the Spanish railway sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><b>Laura Tordera\u00a0<\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laura holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid and as complementary training she has completed several executive programmes such as the Executive Development Programme at EOI, Executive Management at IE &amp; Financial Times and Leadership Development at Oxford Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the international innovation ecosystem, she held the position of General Secretary of ENCORD (European Network of Construction Companies for Research and Development) for six years and is currently a board member of this association. In addition, she is a board member of the ECTP (European Construction Technology Platform).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At a national level, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Colegio Caminos, Canales y Puertos and was a member of the Board of Directors during the last two legislatures, chairing the Ethics and Transparency Committee.
