{"id":12533,"date":"2022-09-23T11:39:35","date_gmt":"2022-09-23T11:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/?p=12533"},"modified":"2022-09-23T11:39:35","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T11:39:35","slug":"ecity-malaga-present-in-greencities-and-s-moving-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/ecity-malaga-present-in-greencities-and-s-moving-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"eCity M\u00e1laga present in Greencities and S-Moving 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><b>ENDESA&#8217;s Director of Institutional Relations, Juan Manuel Rosauro, participated in the round table &#8220;Ciudades 2030&#8221;, in which he spoke about the project<\/b><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><b>EDP, Activacar Mobility and Lynka Group were the other members of a round table moderated by Laura Prats, Deputy Director of Sustainable Finance at CaixaBank<\/b><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The eCityM\u00e1laga project has been the protagonist in one of the round tables that have been held in the framework of Greencities and S-Moving 2022, the event dedicated to sustainable and smart cities has been held at the Trade Fair and Congress Center of Malaga on September 21 and 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, the \u201cSustainability Room\u201d space has hosted a round table entitled \u201cCiudades 2030\u201d, which has been attended by the director of Institutional Relations of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.endesa.com\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ENDESA<\/a>, Juan Manuel Rosauro, who made a presentation on the project launched by the City of Malaga, ENDESA and Malaga TechPark.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We promote the eCityM\u00e1laga project, a public-private project, as this cross-cutting collaboration is necessary to carry it out, where we try to make the Malaga TechPark district a circular district. It is a matter of applying and collaborating with everyone to achieve this circularity,&#8221; said Rosauro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;At Endesa we firmly believe that renewable energies must be developed one hundred per cent. There are challenges to sustainable mobility and the challenge of cities in 2030 must be met. In this sense, I believe there are three challenges: investment in infrastructure, companies &#8211; which are already underway in the eCityM\u00e1laga project &#8211; and the challenge at the domestic level. In this last point, water management, reducing waste, reusing products, etc., is what we have to invest in,&#8221; he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this regard, Rosauro emphasized: &#8220;We launched the Circular Economy Academy on October 5 and the circular economy is not an option, it is the way to be competitive. A cultural change is needed and it all starts with changing those small habits of everyday life.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The round table, moderated by Laura Prats, Deputy Director of Sustainable Finance at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caixabank.es\/particular\/home\/particulares_es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CaixaBank<\/a>, also included Javier Mart\u00ednez, Director of Sustainable Mobility at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edpenergia.es\/es\/empresas\/movilidad-electrica\/productos\/el-futuro-es-electrico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EDP<\/a>; Eduardo Medina, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/activacar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Activacar<\/a> Mobility; and Fernando Mar\u00edn, Director of Business Development at <a href=\"https:\/\/lynka.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grupo Lynka<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was not the only meeting in which the #eCityMalaga project played a leading role, as Endesa X, Endesa&#8217;s business line that offers innovative technological solutions in the world of energy to achieve energy efficiency, also participated in the session &#8220;Vehicles for cleaner and more sustainable transport&#8221; to explain in detail how the company accompanies and helps urban transport operators to meet their decarbonization objectives through the electrification of urban and interurban transport, highlighting the eCityMalaga project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong>About eCityM\u00e1laga<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The eCityM\u00e1laga project aims to turn M\u00e1laga TechPark into the first sustainable urban space with an efficient, 100% renewable and digital circular city model of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e1laga TechPark will respond to the challenges posed by the Sustainable Development Goals, making this leading space in technological innovation also a benchmark in sustainability by 2027, and anticipating by more than two decades the climate and energy targets set by the United Nations for the year 2050.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make the eCityM\u00e1laga project a reality, numerous companies and entities from the park have joined the project, within an open ecosystem of public-private collaboration, driven by Endesa, M\u00e1laga
