{"id":12757,"date":"2022-11-02T11:16:45","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T11:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/?p=12757"},"modified":"2022-11-02T11:16:45","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T11:16:45","slug":"malaga-techpark-launches-a-new-edition-of-the-programme-science-and-technology-for-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/malaga-techpark-launches-a-new-edition-of-the-programme-science-and-technology-for-women\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00e1laga TechPark launches a new edition of the programme &#8216;Science and Technology for Women&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong>The programme aims to make science, technology, engineering, mathematics and art studies visible and promote them among secondary school students, with the participation of 20 APTE member science and technology parks and secondary schools from all over Spain.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e1laga TechPark will launch on 2 November the fifth edition of the &#8216;Science and Technology for Women&#8217; project, promoted by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apte.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">APTE<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On this occasion, the project will kick off at the Talent Woman event, in which it has been collaborating since its first edition and which will be held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de M\u00e1laga on 2 and 3 November in a hybrid format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The presentation event will take place on the 2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of November at 13:50 on the main stage of the forum and will take the form of a conversation between two STEAM professionals participating in the project, which will be moderated by Pilar Gil, vice-president of APTE and general director of the Madrid Science Park.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sof\u00eda Schneider, Cloud Systems Snr Sales Director and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracle.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oracle<\/a> Site Leader at the M\u00e1laga TechPark Office, Nuria E. Campillo, a researcher in the field of drug development at ICMAT (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.csic.es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CSIC<\/a>) and co-founder of the spinoff AItenea Biotech dedicated to solving problems related to the chemical industry through artificial intelligence and based in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fpcm.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Madrid Science Park<\/a>, will participate in this talk.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong>The programme<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As in the previous edition, the programme will run until April 2023 and will consist of visits to the collaborating parks, practical workshops, and a tour of the exhibitions. &#8216;Women who changed the world&#8217; is composed of 31 women who have marked the history of science and technology. &#8216;Women who change the world&#8217; has already 156 professionals from the collaborating parks in the project. Participating in a national competition on challenges focused on the SDGs and the de<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">livery of illustrated guides with examples of career opportunities in STEAM studies: &#8216;What do I want to be when I grow up?&#8217; and &#8216;What are disruptive technologies?.&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the conference, there will also be presentations given by women who carry out their professional activities in the participating parks or their surroundings and who are dedicated to the field of science and technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the details of the initiative as well as the programmes of the conferences that will take place in the different science and technology parks will be updated on the project&#8217;s website and its social media profiles.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The programme aims to make science, technology, engineering, mathematics and art studies visible and promote them among secondary school students, with the participation of 20 APTE member science and technology parks and secondary schools from all over Spain.
