{"id":13723,"date":"2023-02-22T11:25:11","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T11:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/?p=13723"},"modified":"2023-02-22T11:25:11","modified_gmt":"2023-02-22T11:25:11","slug":"the-second-day-of-cetdi-focuses-on-the-economy-cybersecurity-electric-vehicles-and-artificial-intelligence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/the-second-day-of-cetdi-focuses-on-the-economy-cybersecurity-electric-vehicles-and-artificial-intelligence\/","title":{"rendered":"The second day of CETDi focuses on the economy, cybersecurity, electric vehicles and artificial intelligence"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong>Four companies and organisations presented their success stories in the field of Digital Transformation<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The second day of the Spanish Digital Transformation Congress, CETDi, organised by the Digital Eye Observatory of the University of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M\u00e1laga and M\u00e1laga TechPark<\/a>, has highlighted the keys to resetting the economy and society in a dialogue moderated by the Director of Investment Attraction of M\u00e1laga TechPark, Lourdes Cruz, with the intervention of the journalist and advisor at <a href=\"https:\/\/atlastecnologico.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlas Tecnol\u00f3gico<\/a>, Eugenio Mallol, and the economy editor at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diariosur.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diario Sur<\/a>, Nuria Triguero.<\/p>\n<p>During this session, the role of cybersecurity in the digital transition was also addressed in a talk moderated by the editor of the magazine SIC, Luis Fern\u00e1ndez, with the Cyber Security Manager and Responsible of the Capgemini M\u00e1laga Cyber Security Center, Jes\u00fas Mu\u00f1oz, the Security Engineer at Google, Gerardo Fern\u00e1ndez; the Technical Advisor, Andalusia Cyber Security Centre, Enrique Rando; and the Associated Director of Accenture Security, Accenture, Enrique Rando; the Security Engineer at Google, Gerardo Fern\u00e1ndez; the Technical Advisor, Andalusian Cybersecurity Centre of the Andalusian Digital Agency, Enrique Rando; and the Associated Director of Accenture Security and co-founder and vice-president of W4C Spain, Mar L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n<p>After a short break, it was the turn of \u201cDigital Transformation Success Stories.\u201d Here, the CEO and Owner of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlasinformatica.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlas Inform\u00e1tica<\/a>, Owner and COO of Giants Gaming, Virginia Calvo, presented the case \u201cEsports. Much more than a children&#8217;s game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next, the head of Network Design &amp; Optimization Innovation at Business Area Cloud and Software Services of Ericsson, Juan Ramiro, presented \u201cOptimization of mobile networks through AI and digital twins: The case of a leading global operator.\u201d The third case, \u201cTacs4 One: How to capitalise on a competitive advantage by generating new business models,\u201d was presented by Alejandro Torrecilla, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dekra.es\/es\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DEKRA<\/a>. \u00c1ngel Navarro, Director of Transformation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opplus.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Opplus<\/a> Group, presented the fourth case: Transformation of E2E Operations Processes leveraged on a BPM.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Alicia Trivi\u00f1o from the Innovative Power Laboratory of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uma.es\/?set_language=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UMA<\/a> and deputy vice-rector of Enterprise spoke about \u201cElectric vehicles in Smart Cities.\u201d In addition, V\u00edctor Manuel Solla, Director General of Innovation and Urban Digitalisation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.malaga.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">M\u00e1laga City Council<\/a> spoke about \u201cDigital Transformation in M\u00e1laga City Council.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The congress closed with the talk \u201cArtificial Intelligence: Momentum, challenges and future,\u201d by Toni de la Prieta, head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/gb-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Accenture<\/a>&#8216;s Advanced Technology Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Digital Eye<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaleye.uma.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digital Eye Observatory<\/a>, launched jointly by M\u00e1laga TechPark and the University of M\u00e1laga through the Vice-Rectorate for Business, Territory and Digital Transformation, aims to help companies, organisations and institutions in the field of digital transformation. In this context, Digital Eye was created to integrate and concentrate efforts in this area, as well as carry out functions of dissemination, promotion, training, advice and technological innovation in this area, leading to better strategic positioning and decision-making by companies and institutions with implications in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>The activities carried out by the Observatory focus on four main objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To function as a meeting point to identify future trends, emerging technologies and their impact on the business fabric.<\/li>\n<li>To act as a core generator of valuable information for technological development.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a training point for continuous adaptation to the digital transition.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promote cutting-edge ideas and projects
