During the event, M\u00e1laga TechPark was recognized, among other entities and individuals, with the 2024 Ingenio Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, the Board of Directors of COITT-A and AAGIT acknowledge the park for playing a key role in driving M\u00e1laga&#8217;s economic and technological development and for its extraordinary evolution since its inception, establishing itself as an international benchmark in the field of innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This award recognizes the fundamental contribution of M\u00e1laga TechPark in consolidating the city as a global reference in technology and economic development. The park&#8217;s General Director, Felipe Romera, was the one to receive the award.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><b>Recognition of Excellence at the 2024 Ingenio Awards<\/b><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Telecos Andaluc\u00eda Forum is a key space for creating synergies, where the role of telecommunications engineers as drivers of digital transformation in Andalusia is promoted, acting as a crucial engine for the region&#8217;s socio-economic development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the forum, the 2024 Ingenio Awards ceremony took place aimed at promoting and highlighting talent and innovation in the Andalusian technology sector. These annual awards recognize professionals, companies, and institutions that significantly contribute to the advancement of telecommunications and the digitalization process in Andalusia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the event, attendees had the opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional connections, and reflect on the trends and future of the technology sector. Awards were also given to Axi\u00f3n, the &#8220;Hedy Lamarr Chair&#8221; at UMA, the social enterprise UNEI, SOHRLIN Andaluc\u00eda, and engineer Isidoro Berral Montero for their valuable contributions to the fields of engineering and ICT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Telecos Andaluc\u00eda Forum has been supported by the presence of prominent representatives from the Public Administration, Provincial Governments, and City Halls, as well as Andalusian clusters, operators, leading companies, multinational corporations, research centers, and universities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Attendance of authorities<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the attendees, the event was graced by mayor of M\u00e1laga, Francisco de la Torre; Delegate of the Government of the\u00a0 Regional Government of Andalusia in M\u00e1laga, Patricia Navarro; Managing Director of the Agencia Digital de Andaluc\u00eda, Ra\u00fal Jim\u00e9nez; and Antonia Ledesma S\u00e1nchez, Vice President of Citizenship and Territorial Balance of the Diputaci\u00f3n de M\u00e1laga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The dean of COITTA, <\/span><b>Pedro C\u00f3rdoba<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, took the opportunity to review the main achievements and strategic lines of the organization, emphasizing the essential role of the group of technical telecommunication engineers in the technological development of the region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This event, which each year strengthens Andalusia&#8217;s role on the technological map, has reflected the evolution, challenges, and potential of the telecommunications sector, highlighting the importance of collaboration and the support of companies and organizations that make the growth of innovation and digitalization possible for the benefit of society as a whole.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Telecos Andaluc\u00eda Forum has been supported by various entities committed to innovation and the advancement of telecommunications in the region as sponsors: the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Patrimonial of the College of Technical Telecommunications Engineers (PITT), Telef\u00f3nica Empresas, Innovasur, M\u00e1sOrange, Axi\u00f3n, Allied Telesis, Magtel, Proofpoint, and Vodafone.
