{"id":23099,"date":"2025-02-11T09:19:47","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T09:19:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/?p=23099"},"modified":"2025-02-11T09:20:02","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T09:20:02","slug":"the-uma-and-malaga-techpark-create-inntech%c2%b74%c2%b7malaga-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/the-uma-and-malaga-techpark-create-inntech4malaga-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"The UMA and M\u00e1laga TechPark create \u201cinnTech\u00b74\u00b7M\u00e1laga\u201d brand"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>The goal of this collaboration between the UMA and M\u00e1laga TechPark through the UMA innTech brand is to help strengthen the city&#8217;s innovation ecosystem<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The University of M\u00e1laga and M\u00e1laga TechPark have created the \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/inntech.uma.es\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">innTech\u00b74\u00b7M\u00e1laga<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d brand, which serves as a distinctive element in the field of technological innovation for initiatives emerging from the innovation ecosystem formed by M\u00e1laga TechPark, its companies, and the academic institution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The presentation of the brand, held in the Green Lemon Building, was attended by Rector of the University of M\u00e1laga, Teodomiro L\u00f3pez; the Regional Minister of Economy, Finance, and European Funds of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Carolina Espa\u00f1a; the General Director of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Andalusia Technology Park<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PTA), Felipe Romera; and the Director of the Office of Innovation and Technological Cooperation \u2013 UMA innTech, Javier L\u00f3pez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the aim of promoting technological innovation initiatives, as well as increasing awareness in culture and visibility of the brand, the event \u2014targeted at companies within M\u00e1laga\u2019s Technopolis\u2014highlighted the significance of the collaboration between UMA and PTA. As Romera and the Rector stated, this initiative represents \u201canother step forward in the already excellent relationship between both entities.\u201d Now, with the Office of Innovation established at PTA\u2019s headquarters, the collaboration goes beyond the transfer of research results, seeking to become deeply embedded in the business network by addressing companies&#8217; needs and bringing technological innovation directly to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The office that UMA established at M\u00e1laga TechPark began operating in June 2024, and now, with the joint brand, it is formally introducing itself to the business community. Javier L\u00f3pez explained that the first step was to analyze the tools needed to enhance the Park&#8217;s innovation ecosystem. He also outlined the various initiatives launched under the innTech\u00b74\u00b7M\u00e1laga framework:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>SinnERGIAS <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which will include a series of actions aimed at fostering interconnection and relationship-building among the players in the innovation ecosystem. By doing so, it will promote collaboration with the university community while also establishing the necessary cooperative mechanisms to achieve this goal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>SENTinnEL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will serve as an informational section dedicated to analyzing and selecting relevant and up-to-date news in the field of technological innovation. Additionally, it will feature published reports, key programs of general interest launched by national and international institutions, and funding opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>innGENIOS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be a dedicated space for conducting personal interviews and publishing insightful reports. Its goal is to bring the entire innovation ecosystem closer to the opinions, visions, and perspectives of experts and prominent figures in various areas of technological innovation\u2014both from the business and academic worlds\u2014offering a critical and realistic outlook.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>SANDBOXinn<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will enable the collective collaboration of multidisciplinary teams composed of professionals from M\u00e1laga TechPark companies and the UMA community to develop innovative ideas and solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, <\/span><b>inn4YOU<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be the newsletter containing the latest information surrounding the new innTech\u00b74\u00b7M\u00e1laga brand. Its purpose will be to keep the interested public\u2014business, academic, and general society\u2014continuously updated through a subscription on the website.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the brand strategy was explained, the rector emphasized the importance of attracting strategic projects from the Park and involving technological innovation arising from the university sector in them. For his part, Felipe Romera expressed his satisfaction with the \u201cexcellent relationship\u201d between M\u00e1laga TechPark and the University, a connection that \u201chas taken a step further with this project.\u201d Meanwhile, Carolina Espa\u00f1a stated that with innTech\u00b74\u00b7M\u00e1laga, it is clear that \u201cthe University is out in the street.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this regard, the Regional Minister saw it as a positive step &#8220;that knowledge transfer goes in the opposite direction, with technological innovation being offered
