The center will start operating in July 2025, aiming to foster cooperation between China and Spain through the boost of green and sustainable projects. The NGPC will leverage BIC Euronova\u2019s resources in Europe and China through an integrated platform for cross-border marketing, enabling collaboration in trade and sustainable projects. The center also aims to serve as a bridge to develop international markets for third countries, including Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. This is also the first platform between Europe and China focused on the new generations of green and sustainable technologies and products. The building of this center coincides with two milestones: the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and China, and the 20th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Spain and China. In April 2025, these countries issued a joint declaration, the \u201cAction Plan for Strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the People\u2019s Republic of China and the Kingdom of Spain (2025-2028),\u201d which established 3 years to deepen free trade, expand market access, and foster commercial and economic cooperation. The action plan highlights strong cooperation in the green economy, promoting low-carbon energy systems based on a sustainable economy and fair competition. It also underscores the importance of building economic, environmental, and social resilience in response to climate-related challenges.
