Gar\u00edn has been hired as a facility engineer and will spend the next two years working at imec\u2019s main headquarters before relocating to M\u00e1laga to begin preparing the new site, which is expected to be under construction by then.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The goal of his time in Leuven is to gain knowledge of the cleanrooms already operating there, with the aim of replicating the infrastructure and operations in M\u00e1laga. He will be responsible for the engineering aspects of the facility. Gar\u00edn is currently employed by General Electric (GE), working in maintenance at Naturgy\u2019s combined-cycle power plant located in M\u00e1laga TechPark.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A few days ago, Gar\u00edn visited the School of Industrial Engineering at the University of M\u00e1laga, where he shared reflections on his academic journey, professional development, and the challenges ahead in this chapter.
