Organised by the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/colabora.contraelcancer.es\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spanish Association Against Cancer<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in M\u00e1laga, the event has consolidated its status as one of the most prominent sports event on the city\u2019s charity calendar. In addition, the event held deep emotional significance, since runners could customise their race numbers and dedicate their run to friends or family affected by cancer, an initiative that added an extra layer of meaning and emotion to the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Runners from all levels, families and members of the general public gathered in a festive and participatory atmosphere. The large presence of children, especially during the children\u2019s run, once again highlighted the family-oriented nature of the event, designed to enjoy sport outdoors and encourage participation from an early age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The race featured three routes: a 10-kilometre competition, a non-timed 5-kilometre race, and a 100-metre children\u2019s run. The main distance showcased a high level of athletic performance, with strong participation and a tightly contested final ranking. Runners praised both the route and the organisation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Spanish Association Against Cancer emphasised that the initiative aims to promote healthy lifestyles, including sports and preventive practices, while raising funds entirely dedicated to supporting the free programmes and services the organisation offers in M\u00e1laga to patients and families, as well as to fostering cancer research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carmen Litr\u00e1n, regional manager of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in M\u00e1laga, highlighted that \u201cthis edition\u2019s high participation and strong athletic level reflect citizens\u2019 and businesses\u2019 commitment to a race that combines sport, health, and solidarity. Seeing this event grow each year and being enjoyed by families is extremely gratifying for the Association.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Felipe Romera, head of M\u00e1laga TechPark, stated: \u201cParticipating in initiatives such as this charity run against cancer reflects M\u00e1laga TechPark\u2019s commitment to both society and our business community. Beyond encouraging physical wellbeing, these gatherings allow our teams to share ideas, strengthen bonds, and experience together the energy of a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem. In this way, sport becomes a driver of innovation, made even more meaningful when it supports a cause that has a real impact on society, such as the work of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Organisation, Support and Contributors<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organisation would like to thank M\u00e1laga City Council, particularly the Sports Department, and M\u00e1laga TechPark for their support, as well as the sponsoring and contributing companies. Vodafone Business was the main sponsor; Opplus, Iris Global, EY GDS, and Mi Colch\u00f3n were silver sponsors; and Alquimia and Caser were bronze sponsors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special thanks also go to David Lloyd, who led the pre-race warm-up, and to Sol\u00e1n de Cabras, Rosaleda Shopping Centre, Casa Kiki, and Caf\u00e9 Santa Cristina for their participation, as
