{"id":29548,"date":"2026-08-05T07:54:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T07:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/noticias\/malaga-techpark-strengthens-female-leadership-with-a-network-of-more-than-50-female-executives-across-its-innovation-ecosystem\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T07:54:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T07:54:10","slug":"malaga-techpark-strengthens-female-leadership-with-a-network-of-more-than-50-female-executives-across-its-innovation-ecosystem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/noticias\/malaga-techpark-strengthens-female-leadership-with-a-network-of-more-than-50-female-executives-across-its-innovation-ecosystem\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00e1laga TechPark Strengthens Female Leadership with a Network of More Than 50 Female Executives across its Innovation Ecosystem"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><b>The initiative celebrates its second anniversary and establishes itself as a leading network with more than 50 female executives, two editions of its mentoring programme and a strong commitment to the promotion and development of female talent in the business sector<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pta.es\/en\/malaga-techpar-execs-female-leadership\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e1laga TechPark Execs Women Leadership<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a network of female leaders within M\u00e1laga TechPark Execs, which brings together the 30 leading companies in M\u00e1laga&#8217;s innovation ecosystem, has established itself as a benchmark initiative for promoting female leadership within the innovation landscape.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Created in May 2024, the network\u2019s mission is to encourage inclusive leadership, promote equal opportunities for professional development, and support career progression by creating spaces for collaboration, learning, and the visibility of female talent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, the initiative brings together more than 50 professionals from member organisations of the M\u00e1laga TechPark Club, forming a diverse community of female executives that acts as a network for support, professional growth and knowledge sharing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of its standout initiatives is the Mentoring Programme, which has now completed two editions. Through this programme, more than 50 professionals from some of the leading companies in M\u00e1laga&#8217;s innovation ecosystem have received guidance and support in their professional development, strengthening knowledge transfer between experienced executives and the next generation of female leaders in the sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The network also organises the \u201cVoices that Inspire\u201d series, a forum that brings together leading figures from the business and technology sector. Until now, the programme has included participation from leading figures such as Mar\u00eda Marced, a renowned telecommunications engineer, former President of TSMC Europe and current Chair of the Industry Advisory Group (IAG) for the European semiconductor industry, and Mercedes Mac\u00edas, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VP Finance, EMEA Applications<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracle.com\/es\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oracle<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Preparations are already underway for the next edition, scheduled for autumn 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The network&#8217;s activities are complemented by volunteering initiatives, purpose-driven networking events, leadership and professional development programmes, as well as initiatives to raise the visibility of female talent and collaborations with companies and universities. Together, these efforts aim to encourage STEM careers and promote more inclusive workplaces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 25 June, M\u00e1laga TechPark Execs Women Leadership celebrated its anniversary with a special event that brought together members of the network. The event combined the closing ceremony of the second edition of the Mentoring Programme with a masterclass delivered by Gema G\u00f3mez Rom\u00e1n, Director at Talengo, followed by a networking session designed to strengthen connections between professionals in the community.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;M\u00e1laga TechPark Execs Women Leadership was created with the ambition of becoming a genuine driver of female talent within the business, technology and innovation ecosystem. In a very short time, we have seen how collaboration between senior executives, companies and professionals generates a tangible impact on the development of female leadership. Our goal is to continue expanding this community, inspiring new generations and consolidating a leading network for female leadership within our innovation ecosystem,&#8221; said <\/span><b>Lourdes Cruz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Business Development &amp; Investment Promotion Director at the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) and coordinator of the initiative.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This network promotes collaboration among female leaders as a key driver for developing STEM talent. Sharing experience, mentoring future generations and creating role models are essential to strengthening the technology ecosystem and accelerating the inclusion of female talent in the
