Athento is a company from Malaga located at the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) and specialized in document management systems. Athento works on the research and development of intelligent document analysis technologies, including semantics, natural language processing and c<\/span>omputer vision.<\/p>\n

Since 2013 Athento has been collaborating with the Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n Hospital in Madrid on the ANDARES project. an intelligent tool for the management of adverse effects in the administration of medicines. The software developed by Athento analyzes medical information and prescriptions to generate real-time alerts about the possible adverse effects of medicines on patients’ health.<\/span><\/p>\n

ANDARES helps to evaluate the efficacy of a sanitary treatment. That is why the Gregorio Mara\u00f1\u00f3n Hospital has started to use the software to study the evolution of patients with COVID-19 treated with certain medications.<\/p>\n

Also Athento has launched an initiative to offer its document management software – ATHENTO – free of charge, to self-employed people, ONGs, foundations and other non-profit organisations, companies with fewer than 10 employees or educational institutions so that they can access and share their documents in a teleworking environment.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
