This Tuesday, June 15, has been held the webinar ‘Dual vocational training, an opportunity for the ICT sector’, organized by the General Secretariat of Education and Vocational Training together with the Innovation and Development Agency of Andalusia (IDEA). Malaga TechPark has participated in this webinar, which has presented achievements of the European project eLead, an initiative of the European Commission that aims to define a new plan for the qualification of High Tech Leaders.<\/p>\n
The conference has served to share the opportunity to promote dual vocational training, meeting the needs of companies according to the needs of specialization and qualification of people working in the ICT sector.<\/p>\n
M\u00e1laga TechPark participates in the project mainly through the development of a practical tool for VET trainers, professionals and managers who are part of companies linked to the technological field, with a special role for SMEs and emerging companies. The preparation of these trainers is considered essential to provide, in turn, quality training programs to future high-tech leaders.<\/p>\n
M\u00e1laga TechPark has worked, together with the rest of the partners, in the elaboration of a ‘Competence Map’ for the new qualification of high-tech leaders. This training profile will be framed in the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).<\/p>\n
Also, M\u00e1laga TechPark has presented a Guidebook dedicated to VET professionals including resources to support the implementation of a training course for high-tech leaders.<\/p>\n
In addition to the M\u00e1laga TechPark, the eLead project has the participation of other entities and organizations from various European countries, such as the Assindustria Business Association (Italy), the Co.Meta Consultancy (Italy), the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy), the Italo-Belgian Chamber of Commerce (Belgium), the Delft University of Technology (Holland) and the Institute for Business Development (Greece).<\/p>\n
