Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Narv\u00e1ez, rector of the University of Malaga<\/a>, and Ezequiel Navarro, CEO of the PREMO Group<\/a>, based in Malaga TechPark; have presented an agreement for the creation of a ‘Lecture of Industrial Electronic Technology’, in order to promote the development of training activities in the field of electronic components and systems technology, design, manufacturing processes and technology transfer; as well as for the celebration of activities for scientific and technical dissemination in this field.<\/p>\n

The agreement between both parties will allow the creation of the University Program in the field of the School of Industrial Engineering of the UMA, which will be directed by the professor of the Department of Electronic Technology, Francisco S\u00e1nchez Pacheco.<\/p>\n

\u201cPREMO is one of the great benchmark companies that we lacked\u201d, said the rector, who thanked the company for creating this lecture. \u201cIt is an opportunity for us to focus the teaching activity towards a professional and industrial reality in the areas of knowledge of Electronic Technology\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

The executive director of PREMO has shown his satisfaction to be part of the UMA and to \u201ccontribute jointly to innovation and technology transfer\u201d. The Office for the Transfer of Research Results of the UMA (OTRI), of the Vice-Rector’s Office for Research and Transfer, has participated in the management and processing of this agreement, explained Teodomiro L\u00f3pez, also present at the event.<\/p>\n

The activities of the University Program will be aimed at both UMA students and other national and international universities, as well as professionals who seek to acquire up-to-date training. It also aims to promote activities related to the development of final degree and master’s projects for students from the School of Industrial Engineering and other UMA centers.<\/p>\n

One of the planned milestones will be to promote research activities on related topics of interest, in this sense giving support to the development of doctoral theses. The activity plan of the Lecture will also try to value the facilities, laboratories and equipment of the UMA, as well as those of PREMO; collaboration between both of them, contemplating the co-participation of centers and entities of recognized prestige, both nationally and internationally, as well as collaboration with experts in the field.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
