Eurecat Innova, the joint innovation and technological development unit of the Eurecat technology center and the Ricardo Valle Innovation Institute Foundation (Innova IRV), has appointed Verónica Ramírez del Valle, Doctor of Science from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), as its new Director. This move reinforces its mission to deliver advanced solutions that boost the competitiveness of Málaga’s and Andalusia’s industrial and economic landscape.
Verónica Ramírez del Valle, who holds a degree in business administration and innovation management from Fundación San Telmo Business School and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), has built extensive experience in strategic consulting and supporting innovation and business development in both the public and private sectors.
According to this new director, “From Málaga, we aim to accelerate innovation across the Andalusian business community to enhance competitiveness by fostering collaboration with all stakeholders in the region’s innovation ecosystem.”
Ramírez del Valle brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles in project management, operations, strategy, and business development.
Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to strengthening Andalusia’s innovation ecosystem, working with the Andalusian Technology Park Network and supporting the competitiveness of urban industries through her work with the Smart City Cluster.
She also represents Spain in the international G100 initiative under the “Smart and Sustainable Cities” sector, a global group of 100 influential women across 100 impact sectors.
