  • After a first year of remarkable results in employment, funding, and international projection, this space located in the Fundación Unicaja Cultural Center in Málaga is now offering vacancies for technology- and socially-driven projects

The Fundación Unicaja–Málaga TechPark Entrepreneurship Center, located in the Fundación Unicaja Cultural Center in Málaga, has new spaces available for startups looking to join a unique environment right in the city center. Designed to foster projects with strong technological and social value, the center is opening its doors to new entrepreneurial teams eager to become part of a consolidated ecosystem.

During its first year of activity, the center hosted ten startups that generated nearly 30 direct jobs and secured over €550,000 in public and private funding. These companies have developed innovative solutions in areas such as health, artificial intelligence, sustainability, culture, and education, and have been featured in more than 300 mentions across specialized and general media.

Among the startups incubated at the center are Hagamos Hogar, Metamedics, and Umoa Care, supported by Fundalogy, Fundación Unicaja’s investment arm; as well as SIMBAS, Historia Viva Málaga, Novelingo, More than Verso, OWO, Proyecto BLOQDE, and Cybercrin Digital Security.

Key milestones from this first year include:

  • Novelingo, which secured €250,000 in funding through the NEOTEC program.
  • OWO, a pioneer in haptic technology with international expansion in sectors such as defense and specialized training.
  • Metamedics, which surpassed €300,000 in revenue with its extended reality–based clinical simulation platform.
  • Historia Viva Málaga, which closed more than 2,600 contracts for theatrical cultural experiences.
  • Hagamos Hogar, now with over 2,100 users on its shared housing platform for people aged over 55.

The center has also become a hub for training and innovation, hosting initiatives such as the Artificial Intelligence Dojo, which brought together corporations like Accenture and local startups to exchange insights and strategies on applying AI to business models.

As part of their alliance to foster socioeconomic development and talent attraction in Andalusia, Fundación Unicaja and Málaga TechPark will continue promoting initiatives to strengthen specialized training, technology transfer, and the international reach of the startups incubated.
