Málaga TechPark is advancing its sustainable mobility strategy with the introduction of an incentive system on its carpooling app, Málaga TechPark Conecta. This new feature transforms the commuting experience to the park by rewarding active user participation and promoting a more efficient and collaborative mobility culture.

The update introduces a reward model that recognises the users most engaged with the app on a monthly basis. Specifically, the eight most active profiles, those who create and share the highest number of routes, will receive a free reserved parking space within Málaga TechPark for one month.

Moreover, the initiative expands its scope to the park’s wider business ecosystem through the creation of a monthly company ranking. This system will classify companies according to the level of participation of their employees on the platform, awarding gold, silver and bronze distinctions to those most committed to this mobility model.

As a long-term recognition measure, Málaga TechPark has also established an annual award for the companies with the best overall performance throughout the year. The winning companies will receive a prize and a commemorative plaque for their facilities.

More Than Half a Thousand Users

The evolution of Málaga TechPark Conecta responds to the need to continue developing solutions that not only optimise the daily commutes of the park’s more than 29,000 professionals, but also foster a sense of community and shared responsibility among companies and employees.

Launched within the framework of the Sustainable Mobility Plan, the app already has more than 600 users from over 130 companies and has facilitated close to one hundred shared routes since its launch in November 2025. It continues to grow as an effective tool for reducing internal traffic, emissions and the costs associated with individual transport.

Developed by TDconsulting, the platform enables employees to carpool safely and flexibly by connecting compatible routes through smart algorithms that take into account location, schedules and travel frequency. Its features include internal messaging, route geolocation and the monitoring of the environmental impact of commutes.

Through this new incentive system, Málaga TechPark reinforces its commitment to a technology and innovation park model that goes beyond the workplace, integrating technology, sustainability and quality of life into the daily lives of its community.

The Málaga TechPark Conecta app is available free of charge for iOS and Android devices and continues to evolve as a key solution within the park’s service ecosystem.
