The European AccessCoVE Project Organizes New Participatory Working Groups

proyecto europeo AccessCoVE Málaga TechPark

The AccessCoVE project, comprised of a consortium of several European partners and Málaga TechPark, aims to promote excellence in Vocational Education and Training (VET) and innovation in accessibility, creating synergies between educational institutions, public authorities, businesses, and international organizations.

The measures currently under development include the design of new curricula and training programs, especially for two new professional profiles: the Accessibility Certifier and the Accessibility Consultant.

In this context, during the last week of September and the first week of October, several participatory working groups were held, targeting public authorities, companies, educational institutions, and international organizations, with the aim of discussing and advancing the definition of these two key new professional profiles.

During the meetings, participants addressed the needs related to these new roles, the validation of training frameworks developed within the European Union, and opportunities to join the AccessCoVE International Network, which seeks to strengthen collaboration and promote the improvement of accessibility across Europe.

These working groups, designed as spaces for discussion and reflection, are part of a series of five sectoral sessions intended to gather the perspectives of the main stakeholders involved. The final meeting will take place on October 10 at 10:00 CET.

There is still time to participate and contribute to the future of accessibility in Europe.
