BIC Euronova has improved its position compared to last year, climbing from second place nationally and 22nd in Europe
BIC Euronova, the European Business Innovation Centre (CEEI) headquartered at Málaga TechPark, has been recognised by the prestigious Financial Times in its ranking of Europe’s 180 leading entrepreneurial and innovation hubs. BIC Euronova has been ranked as the top hub in Spain and 18th in Europe.
This achievement, for the second consecutive year, reinforces BIC Euronova’s position as one of Europe’s leading centres supporting entrepreneurship and the creation, consolidation, and internationalisation of innovative companies.
The ranking, published today by the Financial Times, highlights BIC Euronova’s ability to foster the start-up ecosystem and its key role as a pioneering European Business Innovation Centre in Málaga. The recognition follows a rigorous evaluation of leading entrepreneurial hubs in Europe, across approximately 40 countries, assessing factors such as the number of supported and incubated companies, job creation capacity, access to capital, impact on the local business community, business consolidation, networking strength, and international presence.
With 34 years of experience driving business innovation, BIC Euronova has established itself as a benchmark in the region for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and innovative companies seeking to develop new ideas and solutions. Its strong connections with international networks, universities, and research centres are also instrumental in fostering a solid and dynamic business ecosystem.

The ranking was compiled by the Financial Times in collaboration with the data collection company Statista. It includes surveys of entrepreneurs and business owners supported by every participating hub, as well as assessments from an independent panel of experts comprising successful investors and entrepreneurs selected by the organisation. The performance, growth and consolidation of the start-ups and companies supported by these centres were also evaluated.
