Macco Robotics, a Málaga-based company with headquarters in BIC Euronova and specialized in humanoid robotics development, introduced its latest innovation: Kime v5, a humanoid robot designed for the hospitality industry, specifically focusing on pubs. Kime v5 aims to optimize efficiency and precision in drinks preparation and service.
The robot has an artificial vision system designed to measure and control the amount of liquid served, ensuring accuracy in drink preparation and reducing waste. Kime v5 is designed to handle a wide variety of drinks, going beyond cocktail preparation.
Kime v5’s design prioritizes versatility and adaptability, allowing the robot to manipulate bottles and glasses of different shapes and sizes. It is compatible with standard bar equipment, such as espresso machines and beer dispensers, through a “Plug and Play” connection system.
The programming of Kime v5 has been simplified to facilitate its use for staff with no prior robotics experience. The interface is intuitive, so the setup of new recipes and work routines is an easy process, aiming to make Kime v5 adaptable for different types of establishments, from modern pubs to traditional ones.
