Entities and parks from countries such as Turkey, Estonia, Georgia, Argentina, Portugal, India, France and Germany, which are collaborators of Malaga TechPark, have visited Transfiere in this edition.
Within the framework of this international gathering, a meeting of the Malaga TechPark Execs management club was held, with the membership of the company Idneo.
Innova IRV has been the protagonist of the panel ‘Malaga, technological centre of reference: Ricardo Valle Institute of Innovation Foundation’.
Malaga TechPark had a strong presence at Transfiere 2022, the main R&D&I meeting in Southern Europe for sharing scientific and technological knowledge, promoting innovation and connecting science and business, which was held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA) on 16 and 17 February.
The director of the park and president of the Transfiere organising committee, Felipe Romera, was in charge of the opening ceremony of the event with a presentation of the data and new features of this year’s event.
The first day also saw the holding of the Malaga TechPark Execs meeting, in which a new company, Idneo, joined. In addition, within the framework of Transfiere, the signing of the addendum of the parks participating in the APTENISA programme, launched by APTE and ENISA, and in which the Malaga technopolis participates, took place.
Second event
The second day began with the presentation of the blockchain network and the registry of innovative entities of the Spanish Technological Platform for Disruptive Technologies (DISRUPTIVE), whose presidency is currently held by the park.Then ‘Algarve Tech Hub Summit’ and ‘Systems Thinking and other keys to innovate in highly complex contexts’, two international projects that have the collaboration of Malaga TechPark, were presented.
Malaga, a technological centre of reference: Ricardo Valle Institute of Innovation Foundation’ was the title of the panel with the participation of Ezequiel Navarro, from Grupo Premo and president of Innova; Antonio de la Pietra, general director at Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centre and vice-president of Artificial Intelligence at the Foundation; and Belén Jurado, director of ESESA, and Pedro Mier, president of AMETIC, both patrons of Innova IRV.
Felipe Romera, president of APTE and director of Malaga TechPark, participated in the presentation ‘How to improve Knowledge Transfer in Spain’.
International projection
For yet another year, Malaga TechPark has highlighted its international projection within the framework of Transfiere 2022. The week began with a reception at The Green Lemon building for the IASP (International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation) and a delegation from Kenya. The international association held its international meeting for two days at the park’s facilities.
One of the most important interventions at this level was that of Hugo Barros, head of the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Division of the University of the Algarve, who presented the ‘Algarve Tech Hub Summit’, a meeting in which Malaga TechPark is collaborating and which will be held from 28 March to 3 April.
Systems Thinking and other keys to innovate in highly complex contexts’, was another of the panels with the collaboration of the park. In it, Celia Carrión, director of the Master in Real Innovation at EADE, in collaboration with CEUSAL and the Scientific Committee of AFIDE, and Ismael Pantaléon, director of Innovation Strategies at Ideas Infinitas and Co-director of SCIO_Esp, spoke about the keys to innovate in complex contexts.
Finally, the head of International Projects of the park, Aline Daniel,together with Mª Ángeles Rastrollo and Julia Martín, from the University of Malaga, presented the results of the European Innoinvest project.
Transfiere was also attended by Eurada, the European Association of Development Agencies, with which the park works closely.
