The three-day event has established itself as a reference point for leaders in productive, research and development sectors and for those interested in the future of innovation.
The primary goal of ELI SUMMIT is to connect and promote knowledge exchange among key players in innovation ecosystems. The event provided opportunities for debate, collaboration and networking and included expert panels, hands-on workshops and networking sessions where the latest trends and advancements in innovation and entrepreneurship were discussed.
The meeting was attended by more than 600 participants, including leaders from the innovative productive sector, research and development representatives, key players from incubators, accelerators, maker spaces, development agencies, technology parks, and investment funds. Business angels, venture capitalists, representatives from Living Labs, and government officials were also present, all committed to promoting economic and social development through innovation.
Director of Technology Transfer and International Relations at Málaga TechPark, Sonia Palomo, played a prominent role in the event. She delivered a masterclass titled “Alliance for Innovation in Local Development,” in which she shared the park’s experience in the creation of strategic alliances that promote sustainable economic growth in the region and its open innovation model. Additionally, she participated in a panel discussion on “Strategic Alliances for Innovation,” where the importance of international cooperation in creating favorable environments for entrepreneurship and technological innovation was debated.
During ELI SUMMIT, Malaga TechPark has expanded its network of international contacts and collaborated with key players from global innovation ecosystems. This exchange of ideas and experiences has not only developed the park’s strategic vision but also helped identify specific collaboration opportunities that could have a direct impact on the development of the technological ecosystem in Málaga.
The experience in Brazil highlighted the importance of continuing to collaborate with other innovation ecosystems in order to address global challenges with advanced and sustainable technological solutions, thereby supporting the advancement of innovation at both local and global levels.
