CRE100DO Foundation Drives SME Growth in Andalusia Through a Programme with Andalusia Trade and Innova IRV

  • TRAS100DE is a pioneering programme aimed at driving SME growth in Andalusia

CRE100DO Foundation, a leader in fostering the growth and competitiveness of mid-cap companies, has launched in Seville the SME programme TRAS100DE, in collaboration with Innova IRV and Andalusia Trade, and with the support of Bankinter Innovation Foundation and ICEX. This pioneering programme is aimed at CEOs of Andalusian companies with annual revenues between €20 million and €50 million, with the objective of helping them drive their companies’ growth.

TRAS100DE is an initiative focused on the qualitative leap from SMEs to the middle market, defined as companies generating more than €50 million but not exceeding €500 million in revenue. This intermediate step allows companies to address growth challenges gradually and in a way tailored to their needs. The programme consists of six sessions over six weeks, held at the headquarters of Sevilla TechPark and Málaga TechPark. The sessions will bring together a select group of executives who have demonstrated their ambition to grow and are looking to share concerns, acquire practical tools, and learn from those who have successfully navigated business growth.

“This programme responds to a real need within the Spanish business sector: supporting SMEs in their qualitative leap. Growth is not only an objective; it is a shared responsibility linked to the country’s future. Moreover, companies with revenues between €20 million and €50 million represent the future middle market, the mid-caps of tomorrow, with the potential to multiply their impact if strategically supported,” said Rafael Vaquero, General Director of CRE100DO Foundation.

CRE100DO Foundation also collaborates in Andalusia with strategic partners such as Innova IRV, a centre for technological innovation applied to industry that promotes, develops and fosters knowledge transfer activities to create market value.

According to Eduardo Valencia, General Director of Innova IRV, “this programme helps bring collaborative innovation and the exchange of experience closer to companies, enabling greater impact. At Innova IRV, we consider it essential to contribute to the competitiveness of companies that act as drivers of the ecosystem through initiatives such as this one.”

Andalusia TRADE is the Regional Government’s public business agency, aimed at consolidating support and funding services for Andalusian companies. Its commitment to CRE100DO Foundation’s project is based on a shared goal: facilitating the growth of medium-sized businesses in Andalusia.

To this end, Andalusia TRADE offers a range of incentives and services designed to foster SME growth and consolidation, including support for industrial initiatives, facilitating R&D investment and encouraging internationalisation. All these measures are aimed at helping SMEs take the next step in their growth journey.

A programme designed for companies

TRAS100DE is based on the idea that mid-cap companies have significant transformative potential within the country’s productive sector. Through this programme, CRE100DO Foundation aims to offer business leaders a trusted community where they can prepare to face the challenges of growth.

Participants will gain direct access to the expertise of middle market companies within the Foundation (with revenues between €50 million and €500 million), which are currently leaders in innovation, international expansion and organisational transformation, among other areas. Some of the Andalusian companies participating include DHV Technology, Elecam, Eshipping Containers, Excel Trop, Family Biscuits, Barragán Espinar Group, Cuatrogasa Group, R. Queraltó Group, Inés Rosales, Meltio, Panambi, Penalva Alimentación, Provelpack, Sigfrido and Simons Food, among others.

Key topics to be addressed throughout the programme include vision and strategy, international growth, talent and governance, funding and inorganic growth, productivity and digitalisation, innovation, and ecosystems and intangible assets.
