Fundación ONCE, Inserta Empleo and Málaga TechPark promote digital training for people with disabilities

The creation of a program aimed at training people with disabilities in technological professional profiles is proposed thanks to the agreement signed between the parties.

Fundación ONCE, Inserta Empleo and Málaga TechPark have signed an agreement to promote the training of people with disabilities in technological professional profiles. Specifically, the plan aims to create a plan to train people with disabilities in skills such as web programming, virtual reality, 3D printing, digital marketing or video games, among others.

The aim is to promote professional qualifications, job skills and personal and professional skills as determining factors in the level of employability of people with disabilities and, therefore, key factors in the labor integration process. In addition, Málaga TechPark, as part of its commitment to sustainable and inclusive development, will disseminate job opportunities in its member companies, encouraging the incorporation of people with disabilities into the labor market.

Self-employment, entrepreneurship and business creation by people with disabilities will be promoted, including micro, small and medium-sized innovative enterprises.

With this agreement, the parties formalize the various training and labor inclusion actions they were carrying out. For example, Arelance is currently running a web developer course with the participation of companies from the Park such as CGI, Ingenia, Minsait, Indra Transport and Defense, Opplus, Summa Communications & Voiceworks Labs Spain, The Workshop and Avanade. The course is co-financed by the European Social Fund.

This is a pilot and pioneering action, as it is the first time that a Spanish technology park has taken part in this type of cooperation with Fundación ONCE and Inserta Empleo. The objective, after the completion of this course, is that both entities continue their collaboration with more actions of this kind and add more companies of Málaga TechPark in this participation.
