Málaga TechPark has once again played a leading role in Foro Transfiere, the main R&D&I meeting in Southern Europe for sharing scientific and technological knowledge, promoting innovation and connecting science and business, which was held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA) on 15, 16 and 17 February. The park had a stand in the APTE space at the event.

The director of the park and president of the Transfiere organising committee, Felipe Romera, was in charge of opening the opening ceremony of the event with a presentation of the data and new features of this year’s event.

Thus, the technopolis, through the International area, has welcomed the visit of business associations, companies and parks from countries such as Portugal, China, Holland, Italy and Dubai, which are collaborators of Málaga TechPark.

The park’s intense schedule of activities included meetings with embassies and representatives of countries such as Luxembourg, Sweden and Moldova, among others.

On the other hand, the director of the park, Felipe Romera, who is also president of the Association of Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), has led the General Assembly of the association in the framework of Transfiere.

Within the framework of the Transfiere Forum, the Aptenisa programme held its Demo Day and bid farewell to the 2022 edition, while welcoming the 2023 edition. This business ideation and acceleration programme, launched by APTE and ENISA, has the participation of Málaga TechPark. Thus, three startups from Málaga participated in the Demo Day of the finalist startups: Southern Biorefinery, Clic Order and EasyChatbot.

Another of the highlights of Transfiere was the celebration of the Spanish Digital Transformation Congress, CETDi, organised by the Digital Eye Observatory of the University of Málaga and Málaga TechPark, which was attended by influential experts in the field.

Finally, the Fundación Instituto Ricardo Valle de Innovación, Innova IRV, also played a very active role in the various round tables, conferences and presentations.
