- Málaga TechPark Conecta, developed by TDconsulting and promoted by the Sustainability group of Málaga TechPark Execs, consolidates its role as a key tool to encourage carpooling in the park
Málaga TechPark Conecta, the carpooling app launched as part of the park’s Sustainable Mobility Plan, already has more than 300 registered users and has recorded about fifty shared routes just one month after its official launch. These figures demonstrate the rapid adoption of the tool among park employees and the growing interest in more efficient and sustainable mobility solutions.
The platform, developed by TDconsulting, a company of the TOPdigital Group and member of the executives’ club Málaga TechPark Execs, enables employees from different companies to carpool safely, systematically, and in a customised manner, reducing internal traffic, emissions, and costs associated with individual transportation. For now, employees of approximately a hundred companies already use it.
With an ecosystem of more than 28,000 employees and over 700 companies, Málaga TechPark faces the daily challenge of managing its community’s mobility. In this context, Málaga TechPark Conecta has become a cutting-edge solution tailored to these needs, combining advanced technology, sustainability, and a sense of community.
The app, available for iOS and Android at no cost, allows users to register with their corporate email and create either a driver or a passenger profile. Thanks to its intelligent algorithms, it identifies compatible routes based on location, time, and frequency, making it easy to create both one-time and recurring routes. Moreover, users can geolocate carpool partners, communicate through internal messaging, and track CO2 emission savings statistics and sustainable kilometres.
Among its features is also a reputation and rating system that strengthens trust among users, as well as the option to synchronise trips with work schedules. The platform’s roadmap includes future enhancements, such as the integration of electric vehicle charging stations, connections with public transport, and an incentive system to reward the most active users.
For questions, suggestions or general information, users can visit the platform’s website (www.mtconecta.es) or contact technical support via email at info@mtconecta.es.
This initiative is part of Málaga TechPark’s commitment to sustainable mobility, emissions reduction, and intelligent traffic management, advancing towards a more connected, efficient, and environmentally friendly business park.
