Hrider Opens Delegation in Mexico to Boost Business Development

  • Mexico joins Peru and Colombia as one of the Latin American countries with a physical presence of the Málaga-based startup that is transforming the HR sector

Hrider, the Málaga-based startup, is closing the year with the opening of a new delegation in Mexico to strengthen its business development in the country. This strategic move responds to Mexico’s strong market potential and to Hrider’s long-standing and successful activity there. The company’s aim is to establish a permanent physical presence, led by Country Manager Dalia Oviedo, a Mexican national who spent a year in Spain training at the Málaga-based company before returning to her home country to drive Hrider’s growth.

Until now, Peru and Colombia were the only Latin American countries with a team working from the region. Currently, Hrider has more than 50 active clients in Mexico.

“Mexico is a very large market. On the one hand, we will be able to provide closer support to our existing clients, and on the other, we will show companies that are not yet using our technology everything that Hrider can offer. Expansion opportunities are significant, since there are technologies already applied in Spain that are not yet widely used here. This will represent a very positive change for all Mexican companies that join us,” says Oviedo.

The maturity of Hrider’s product, together with the specific features developed for that market (such as the psychosocial risk factors assessment for the Mexican standard NOM-035) and the fact that it is one of the countries with the most opportunities for Hrider, have driven the business’ expansion and the adaptation of the product to local needs. Dalia Oviedo is a business manager who, prior to her time at Hrider in Spain (where she trained in talent selection and management through a Master’s degree at the University of Málaga while working at the company), already worked in Mexico as head of a Human Resources team of nearly 2,000 people.

Last November, Hrider presented in Madrid its new and powerful People Analytics solution with AI: Hrider Lab, an advanced laboratory that enables in-depth exploration of employee talent and experience data. Thanks to its integrated artificial intelligence, it allows any non-expert professional to understand what is happening within their organisation, identify areas for improvement, and receive suggestions to develop and implement said advice in their company.

“The key is not collecting data, but turning it into intelligence that can transform organisations,” claims Hrider CEO, Daniel del Río. “There is still a long way to go before Human Resources departments become true strategic drivers of business growth. In this context, Hrider has become a key competitive advantage for our clients: reducing turnover, fostering talent retention, and identifying inefficiencies can make a real difference in today’s highly competitive environment.”

Hrider offers capabilities that almost no other market solution can match. Metaphorically, “it is like a crystal ball,” explains Del Río, through which CEOs can rapidly understand the state of their teams’ talent and culture, as well as their main challenges and strengths. Hrider turns beliefs and assumptions into contrastable realities. “Hrider Lab makes it possible to draw strategic conclusions that transform companies and take them to the next level.”

At Hrider, strategic management and people development (known as Talent Intelligence software) are prioritised. The startup has been a pioneer in the application of AI to the Human Resources sector. “Our goal is to improve the world by enhancing how people improve their professional careers, develop their capabilities, and unlock their talent and potential, thanks to our AI-powered Talent Management software and a customer service that truly adds value,” explains Product Manager Rocío Valenzuela.

Hrider was born with the mission of democratising Human Resources management, enabling companies of any size (between 10 and 10,000 employees) to implement continuous improvement processes that were previously only available for large multinational corporations. Its technology specialises in measuring and managing the talent of organisations and companies committed to innovation. Its software integrates advanced People Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, focusing on talent diagnosis and development, the encouragement of people development, objectives, and performance assessment, 360º feedback, and organisational climate and culture analysis for medium and large companies.
