About eLead

The eLead project aims at cutting down the shortage of e-leadership skills among Europe by creating education materials for professionals of Vocational Training who are involved in the training processes of workers and managers in the hi-tech and digital field. The objective of this is to implement and promote training paths for the acquisition of e-leadership skills.

The e-Lead project activities aim to provide Vocational Training trainers, in-company trainers, experts in the hi-tech sector, trainers working with SMEs and start-ups, incubators and accelerators (primary target group) with specific knowledge, skills and competences necessary to promote, guide, assist, facilitate and evaluate the acquisition of e-leadership skills. The final beneficiaries of the project are people working in the hi-tech sector, in particular in SMEs or start-ups (workers, managers, company leaders, key roles in hi-tech companies). It aims to promote innovative practices to reduce the e-skills shortage in Europe.

The project, which is financed together with the Erasmus+ program of the EU, officially started in October 2019 and will last 28 months.

Objectives achieved

Some of the results already achieved by the project are:

  1. A competence map describing the professional profile of the High-Tech Leader in terms of units of learning outcomes applying European standards (ECVET and EQF). The competence map was created by comparing the key activities to be carried out by hi-tech Leaders in the partner countries and is based on a clear definition of the profile of the high-tech Leader.
  2. An eLead Pedagogical Manual dedicated to Vocation Training professionals that includes resources such as training modules, methodologies and tools to support the implementation of a training course for hi-tech leaders.
