Driving the Málaga tech ecosystem through initiatives such as creating AI microcredentials, female mentoring, and solar self-supply workshops
The Málaga TechPark Execs Directors’ Club held its first quarterly meeting of the year. Led by Antonio Gómez-Guillemón, CEO and co-founder of Aertec, and hosted at the EIG Education campus at Málaga TechPark, the session reviewed the actions of the different working groups during the first months of 2025, and set the path for the rest of the year.
The working groups within Málaga TechPark Execs have carried out around twenty initiatives, such as:
- The launch of generative AI microcredentials by the Talent Group.
- The start of an annual collaboration plan with ETSI Informática.
- Mentoring programs for female executives promoted by the Female Leadership group.
- Solar self-supply workshops organized by the Sustainability group.
- A cancer awareness run organized by the Ecosystem Support group, which drew over 800 participants to the streets of the Málaga technopark.
“This Club is not just a meeting forum, it is a transformation tool for companies in the park and the ecosystem around it,” emphasized Gómez-Guillamón during presentations from each group coordinator. “We want this park to be not only a technological benchmark, but also a human-centered, sustainable, and city-integrated one that creates synergies,” he highlighted.
15 more activities for the rest of the year
Club members have already proposed up to 15 activities for the rest of 2025. These activities include:
- Business delegation visit to Sweden.
- Partnerships with the University of Málaga and private universities for internship agreements and academic advising

- The announcement of the first Málaga TechPark Execs Award 2025.
This award aims to recognize the company member of the Club that stands out in areas such as collaboration, innovation, talent attraction, sustainability, local and international impact, and diversity and inclusion. Each working group will submit nominations, and the winning company will be announced in a special event in December. The selected entity will receive a commemorative trophy and visibility across the Club’s official channels.

He formally presented the innTech·4·Málaga initiative, aiming to strengthen the innovation ecosystem between the University of Málaga and the companies within the park. In addition, the Director of the University of Málaga’s Doctoral School showed the potential of Industrial PhD to attract talent, boost innovation projects within the companies, and strengthen university-industry alliances.
