The Recycling Business Models project

The main objective of the Recycling Business Models project is to investigate and analyze the possibility of transforming traditional science and technology parks into more sustainable areas, with circular systems where the waste from one company provides raw materials or energy to another.

Since the beginning of this initiative in 2019, numerous awareness campaigns have been carried out to promote the recycling of different waste, such as paper, plastic and glass.

Recycling Business Models is a project of the INNOSUP call, which is part of the European Commission’s ‘H2020’ program, in which Málaga TechPark has had and still has an outstanding participation in various technological projects. Specifically, the Recycling Business Models initiative is led by the technopolis with the participation of the STP’s of Johanneberg (Sweden) and Alentejo (Portugal) and also has the participation of other international collaborating entities.
