  • The Málaga-based company maintains this recognition for the third consecutive year, pioneering within its sector, while strengthening its efforts to promote a circular and responsible economy

OPPLUS, headquartered at Málaga TechPark, has renewed its Zero Waste certification from AENOR for the third year in a row. This certification guarantees the correct waste management and valorization practices, achieving a recovery rate of over 90%. First obtained in 2023, this milestone made OPPLUS the first company in the national Consulting-BPO sector to receive this distinction.

The company’s key initiatives to support a circular economy are maintenance and repair systems for tech equipment and office furniture, helping extend their useful life and reduce daily waste generation across the organization.

In addition, OPPLUS carries out various social and environmental impact initiatives, including partnerships with local associations. Over the past few years, the company has donated more than 54 tons of reusable materials, helping to reduce CO2 emissions significantly.

“Sustainability is part of our core values. This certification reflects the effort of every team member and our company’s commitment to minimizing its environmental footprint inside and outside our offices,” said Flor Fernández, Manager at OPPLUS. “We will continue to promote projects that prove sustainability and efficiency can go hand in hand.”

Furthermore, OPPLUS has achieved certifications in other areas of sustainability, including ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 14064 Carbon Footprint.
